12 Days of Christmas – Day 3
On the Third Day of Christmas my True Love gave to me…….
Ingredients to make a Rocky Treat for family and friends. Gift wrap it and add a gift tag you made on Day 1.
Rocky Road is one of my favorite Christmas Treats, and I only ever make it at Christmas time. Today I have provided all the ingredients plus Cellophane Bags & Ribbon to package the treats ready for them to giveaway.
Rocky Road Recipe
- Line Baking Tray with Baking Paper
- Cut 1 packet marshmallows into thirds with a pair of scissors into a large bowl
- Cut 2 Turkish Delight chocolate bars into small squares add to bowl with marshmallows
- Toast 1/4 cup of Shredded Coconut & 1/4 cup of silvered almonds add to marshmallow bowl
- Melt 1 packet of Dark Melting Chocolate in the Microwave stirring every 30 seconds until you get a smooth consistency
- Pour Melted chocolate over ingredients and mix with a large metal spoon.
- Pour mixture onto prepared baking tray, spread mixture over baking tray and place in refrigerator for 2 hours or until set
- With a sharp knife cut Rocky Road into squares.
YUM, YUM, YUM…. I'm off now to make some Rocky Road.
