Birthday Basics

Another Birthday card today using Birthday Basics Designer Series paper, Directions below

DIRECTIONS:

1. Fold the 14.9cm x 21cm piece of Sahara Sand CS in half, with a bone folder, creating a card base
2. Centre and stick the 13.9cm x 7.9cm piece of DP to the 8.2cm x 14.2cm piece of Bermuda Bay CS, using double sided adhesive
3. Punch along the 2.5cm x 15cm piece of Raspberry Ripple CS, using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.  You will be left with a scalloped CS ribbon piece
4. Stick the scalloped piece of Raspberry Ripple CS to the bottom edge of the back of the matted DP, leaving only half of the scalloped CS exposed, using double sided adhesive.  Trim off the excess scalloped CS, with paper snips
5. Lay the 18cm pieces of Raspberry Ripple stitched satin ribbon across the matted DP, 1.5cm up from the bottom edge.  Wrap the ends of the ribbon around to the back of the matted DP and stick them down, using double sided adhesive
6. Lay the matted DP onto the card base, leaving equal boarders on the top, left and right hand sides for placement purposes only
7. Ink up the greeting with Basic Grey classic ink and stamp the greeting in the bottom right hand corner of the card base
8. Stick the matted DP onto the card base, leaving equal borders on the top, left and right hand sides, using double sided adhesive
9. Slide the 10cm piece of linen thread under the 18cm piece of ribbon, on the matted DP.  tie the linen thread into a double knot around the left hand side of the ribbon.  Trim the ends of the linen thread, as close to the knot as you can, using craft scissors
10. tie the 30cm piece of Raspberry Ripple stitched stain ribbon into a bow.  Trim the ends of the ribbon on a slight angle, using craft scissors
11. Stick the bow to the card, directly over the linen thread, using hot glue.  You're done!
