Birthday Gift Card
I seem to be always making birthday cards, a week doesn't go by without it being someones birthday in our family. This card I made for my niece last month. It's a great way to use up some scrap pieces of designer paper you may have.
DIRECTIONS
- Fold the 14.9cm x 21cm piece of Primrose Petals CS in half, with a bone folder, creating a card base.
- With the card base laying landscape manner, round the bottom left and right corners using the corner rounder and set aside for a moment.
- With the 9.8cm x 14.3cm piece of Whisper White CS in a landscape manner, stamp the greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp set in the bottom left hand corner , about 1/2 cm in from the left hand edge of the CS, using Black Stazon Ink.
- Dry emboss the stamped Whisper White CS, using the Chevron Embossing Folder and Big Shot
- Round the bottom right and left corners of dry embossed Whisper White CS using the corner rounder
- Centre and stick the Whisper White CS to the Primrose Petals Card base using SNAIL Adhesive
- Punch 4 squares from Gingham Garden Designer Paper using 1" Square punch, stick these to the card, in the bottom right hand corner, as shown in the picture above, using SNAIL Adhesive
- Tie 25cm piece of Primrose Petals stitched Satin Ribbon into a bow. Trim off the ends of the ribbon on a slight angle using craft scissors
- Stick the bow to the card base, just over the four pieces of DP, using a mini glue dot. You're Done!
