Christmas Bon Bon
Welcome to week 9 of my 12 weeks of Christmas blitz.
Supplies used for this project:
- Stamps: More Merry Messages
- Ink: Stazon Black
- Paper: Seasons of Style Designer Series Paper Stack, Scrap Whisper White CS
- Accessories: Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, paper snips, scoring board, envelope punch board
Step-by-Step Directions
Step 1: Select one sheet from your paper stack using your score board with the long edge up against the top of your scoring board score at 1″ x1 1/2″ x2″ and at 4 1/2″, 5″, 5 1/2″
Step 2: Rotate your piece of DP 90 degrees and score at score the length of the paper at 1″, 2″, 3″, 4″
Step 3: Fold along the score lines, with a bone folder
Step 4: Fold the short ends in a mountain, valley, mountain fold as shown in the diagram
Step 5: Fold the first flap from the long length of your DP, insert into the envelop punch, you’re aiming to punch down the middle of the score lines you have created. (measurements approx. 1 1/2″ using your envelope punch ruler) and punch. Measure at 5″ line, lining up the punch hole in the middle of the score lines and punch again
Step 6: Fold your piece of DP again and insert into the punch board, measure the 1 1/2″ mark on your punch ruler and punch, measure at 5″ line and punch again. Repeat til you have 4 holes
Step 7: open your DP and on the wider side you need to punch through one thickness otherwise you won’t see that hole
Step 8: Add sticky strip to the small strip and seal ends together
Step 9: Tie Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon to the ends in a bow
Step 10: Stamp your greeting onto a scrap piece of Whisper White CS with Stazon Black ink, punch out with the large oval punch and adhere to your Bon Bon with a stampin’ Dimentional. you’re done!
