Day 13 – Holiday Blitz – Tis’ the Season

Welcome to Day 13 of our Holiday Blitz, I’m having so much fun creating and sharing these fun project ideas with you.  Today’s project we’re featuring the Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

I started by creating a ombre effect with Real Red and Cherry Cobbler ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White CS using a brayer, you could also create this technique with Stampin’ Sponges, and die cut the words from the coordinating Jolly Season Dies.

Adhere the word strips to a 3″ x 3″ piece of Vellum using Fine Tip Glue pen and adhere the vellum to a 3″ x 3″ piece of Whisper White CS

I’ve stamped the cardbase in Old Olive ink and used multiple images from the Holly Jolly stamp Set.  Stamp gift image three (3) times in Old Olive ink onto scrap piece Whisper White CS and die cut out.

Adhere your burlap ribbon across the front of the cardbase as shown in the picture.   Add greeting panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals, randomly place the die cut gift images.  Embellish using noble peacock rhinestones.

Below is a video tutorial showing you how I created the project
