Happy Birthday
Today’s Card, is this Happy Birthday card featuring “Everything Eleanor” Stamp set. you can always change the greeting to one a “Thinking of You” or “Thankyou” The Directions on how this card was made is listed below
Directions:
- Fold the 15 x 21cm piece of Rose Red CS in half, with a bone folder, creating a 15 x 10.5cm card base. Set aside for a moment
- Stamp the label onto the 14.2 x 9.8cm piece of Whisper White CS so that it is approx 2cm from the top edge of the CS using Island Indigo Classic Ink. Set aside for a moment
- Stamp the label again onto a piece of copy paper using Island Indigo Classic ink, cut the label out along the outer edge, using paper snips. You will use this as your mask
- Apply some repositionable adhesive to the back of your mask and temporarily stick it over the top of the label that was stamped onto the Whisper White CS piece
- Ink up your flourish stamp with Old Olive Classic ink and stamp it below the masked label as show in the picture above – the top portion of the flourish will overlap onto the mask, Repeat, this time stamping the flourish above the label as shown in the photo
- Remove the mask and erase any residue from the repositionable adhesive that may have remained on the stamped label
- Run the embossing buddy over the label on the piece of Whisper White CS. Stamp the sentiment from Sassy Salutations stamp set in the center of the label using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle white embossing powder over the image. Tap off any excess embossing powder. Heat the embossing powder with a heat tool until it melts
- Center and stick the piece of Whisper White CS to the folded Rose Red Card base, using double sided adhesive
- Stamp a medium and a small flower onto a scrap piece of Pink Pirouette CS, using Rose Red Classic Ink. Cut out both flowers along the outer edge, using paper snips
- Stick the small flower to the bottom right of the label, using double sided adhesive. Place a medium pearl in the center of the flower
- Stick the larger flower next to the small flower, using a stampin’ Dimentional. Add a large pearl to the center of the larger flower.
- Embellish above and below the label with a few small and medium pearls. You’re Done!
