Joyful Christmas Wishes Card
Welcome to week 8 of my 12 weeks of Christmas blitz.
Supplies used for this project:
- Stamps: Festive Flurry, Joyful Christmas
- Ink: Pool Party, Smokey Slate Classic Ink
- Paper: Whisper White CS
- Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds. 2-way Glue Pen, Circles Collection Framelits Dies
- Other: Copy Paper, Pencil, Ruler
Dimensions:
- Whisper White CS: 10.8cm x 21.6cm (4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″)
- Copy Paper: 11.4cm x 11.4xm (4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″)
Step-by-Step Directions
Step 1: Fold the Whisper White CS in half, with a bone folder. Set aside for a moment
Step 2: Cut a square of copy paper to create a mask
Step 3: Use the ruler and pencil to mark the centre point of the copy paper
Step 4: Trace a circle using the3rd smallest circle – 2″ (5.1 cm) circle (from the Circles Collection Framelits Dies) in the centre of the copy paper.
Step 5: Use a pencil and a ruler to draw the starburst lines.
Step 6: Cut out every other starburst using paper snips to create the mask. Stop cutting at the circle to leave room for the greeting.
Step 7: Temporarily adhere the mask over the Whisper White card front.
Step 8: Stamp the snowflake patterns from Festive Flurry Stamp Set in Pool Party ink on the unmasked starbursts.
Step 9: Remove Mask.
Step 10: Stamp the greeting from Joyful Christmas Stamp set in Smoky Slate ink in the centre of the card front.
Step 11: Draw lines of glue using the Two-Way Glue Pen. Adhere Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter to the lines. Let dry.
