You Are Too Kind – Bold Butterfly

You Are Too Kind – Bold Butterfly

I’m loving the “One Big Meaning” stamp set from Stampin’ Up! It has so many great ways to say Thank You.  It might be the reason why I seem to be making a lot of Thank You Cards lately.  Today’s project is relatively simple I’ve allowed my Greeting to be the star of my project.

The greeting was coloured using Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Markers

I’ve created my background with Watercolour Wings stamps set, using tone-on-tone effect with Daffodil Delight Cardstock and Daffodil Delight Ink.

Butterflies were cut using the smallest butterfly image from Bold Butterfly Framelit dies in various colours.  Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral.

Tricks & Tips

  • Don’t have Stampin’ Write Markers?  Mask off bottom part of the greeting and stamp the top part with Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink, Clean the stamp and mask the top part of the greeting and ink the bottom with Crushed Curry Classic Ink, using a stamp-a-ma-jig stamp the bottom part of the greeting
  • Try using Versamark Ink instead of Daffodil Delight to create a tone-on-tone effect
