Limited Time Only – Snowflake Showcase

 

Currently it’s 46°C here in outback Australia not quite sure what happened to spring, but summer sure is here, some snow would be good right about now.  Wait!….. it doesn’t snow in Western QLD (bummer).  The new Snowflake Showcase (limited time) will sure to cool things down this month.

Snowflake Showcase includes the following items

Here are some great project ideas using all items from the Snowflake Snowcase

 

 

Supplies:

• Stamps – Snow is Glistening
• Ink – Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede, Versamark Ink
• Paper – Thick Whisper White, Shimmer White, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate CS, White Velveteen sheets
• Other – Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Snowfall thinlits, Snowflake Trinkets, Stampin Dimensionals, multipurpose Liquid glue, Aqua Painter, paper snips, White embossing powder, heat tool, rhinestones

Dimensions:

• Thick Whisper White CS: 8-1/4” x 5-7/8” (21 x 15cm) scored and fold at 4-1/8” (10.5cm) to create a cardbase
• Shimmer White CS:  3-7/8” x 5-5/8”
• Pear Pizzazz CS:  5″ x 4″
• Whisper White CS: Scrap piece
• Smoky Slate CS: Scrap piece
• White Velveteen Sheets: scrap piece

Directions:

1. Create a wash with Balmy Blue Ink and Aqua painter on Shimmer White CS
2. Stamp background with dotted image, using the stamp off technique
3. Stamp the tree image onto Pear Pizzazz CS using Pear Pizzazz Ink, cut around the tree using paper snips
4. Stamp the truck of the tree onto a scrap piece of whisper white cs and soft suede ink, cut around the truck with paper snips
5. Stamp greeting onto scrap piece of Smoky Slate CS and versamark ink. Heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Die cut greeting with stitched shape framelits
6. Die cut multiple snowflakes with Snowflake thinlit dies and White Velveteen sheets
7. Add your tree to the shimmer white CS using Stampin’ dimensionals.  Add the tree trunk with liquid adhesive
8. Add a scattering of snowflakes as shown in the picture
9. Embellish with snowflake trinket
10. Add your greeting with stampin’ dimensional.  Finish with a scattering of rhinestones.  You’re Done!
