Love You

This weeks team challenge is …. is based on a Theme. LOVE / VALENTINES. So make anything Card, Scrapbook page, MDS project, 3D item etc. that represents LOVE. This is my project

Itty Bitty Banners

Here’s how I created the card:

Directions:

  1. Fold the piece of Crumb Cake CS in half creating a 14.9 x 10.5cm card
  2. Emboss a piece of 14 x 9.5 piece of Blushing Bride CS using the Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and the Big Shot
  3. Stick the piece of Blushing Bride CS to the 14.3 x 9.8cm piece of Cherry Cobbler CS, leaving equal borders on the top, left and right hand sides, using double sided adhesive
  4. Stick the matted piece of Blushing Bride CS to the card front, leaving an equal border on the top, left and right hand sides, using double sided adhesive.  Trim off the overhanging CS on the bottom of the card using a paper cutter
  5. Die cut a heart from a scrap piece of Cherry Cobbler CS using the hearts collection framelits and big shot
  6. Stick the heart of the card, slightly above the centre point, using double sided adhesive
  7. Stamp the greeting onto the scrap piece of Whisper White CS using Black Stazon ink.  Die cut the greeting using Bitty Banners Framelits and the Big Shot
  8. Stick the greeting flag to the card, towards the bottom of the heart, using double sided adhesive
  9. Stick three buttons from the Regals and Subtles button collection onto the left hand of the greeting flag using mini glue dots.
  10. Feed one end of the bakers twine on the large button through one button hole and down the through the other button hole
  11. Position the button towards the bottom right hand corner of your card, holding the button in place, wrap the twine around the card front three times (you may want to leave the twine on the spool as you are wrapping it around the card.)
  12. Stick the button on the card front, over the twine, using a mini glue dot
  13. Tie the ends of the twine into a bow.  Trim off any excess twine using paper ships. You’re done!
