Make It Monday #5: Clean & Simple Card Sets
What does it mean to be Clean & Simple? Well, it’s all about the design. Your project needs to be
- Uncluttered
- Lots of White or open space
- One main focal point
My project today features the Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set. This design is first of the new Distinktive Stamp range coming soon to Stampin’ Up!. You can earn this stamp set for free when you spend $90 or more in my online store before 31 March 2018.
How are the Distinktive Stamp range different from other stamp images
The new Distinktive stamps lay down the ink at different opacities giving the finished image more depth – just ink the surface lightly for a perfect photographic finish.
As this stamp has so much detail, I’ve decided to keep it simple and only stamp in one colour of ink. The image has been stamped with Sweet Sugarplum Classic ink the bottom left corner of a 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
A created a border 1/4″ in from the outside along all four sides. The greeting also comes from the same stamp set (there are 3 to choose from) stamped with Memento Black Ink. My finished card is adhered to my 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ Sweet Sugarplum Cardbase.
