What are you making for Father’s Day?

Coming up with the right colour combination can be tricky. I like to look at the pattern paper I have and pick my colour combinations from that. In today’s project I’ve used the Coffee Break Patterned Paper, and the colours I have selected from this paper are
From the colour combination I have selected, I’ve decited to use the Crumb Cake and my cardbase with a pop of colour using the Pear Pizzazz. I didn’t want to make my card to busy with a lot of patterned paper so add texture I went with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder. Now, one may look at the Petal Burst Embossing folder and think that would look great for a girly project , the certainly suggests gardens, colours, outdoors. But by changing the colours it makes a great background piece for my Father’s Day card
My Image has been stamped from the Lovely as a Tree Stamp set, and my greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments

To finish my card, I’ve added a piece of Twine across the top and tied it into a bow.
