Masculine Thank You Card

In today’s project we’re creating Masculine Thank You Card.  I always have to stop and think when I need to create a card for a guy as the usual flowers and pretty ribbons are not going to work when creating masculine cards.

I wanted to use the Hardwood Stamp for my background however, the stamp is smaller than the standard size card so to make things easier I just cut a piece of Always Artichoke CS 28 x 10.5cm scored and folded in half to create my cardbase.

I stamp my leaf image from Vintage Leaves onto scrap pieces of Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party and Old Olive CS using Versamark ink and heat embossed the image using Clear embossing powder and a Heat tool.

The greeting comes from One Big Meaning Stamp Set and coloured using Pear Pizzazz and Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Markers.

Tricks & Tips

• Don’t have Stampin’ Write Markers?  Mask off bottom part of the greeting and stamp the top part with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink, Clean the stamp and mask the top part of the greeting and ink the bottom with Always Artichoke Classic Ink, using a stamp-a-ma-jig stamp the bottom part of the greeting
