Rainbow Butterfly Shaker Card
Rainbow Butterfly Shaker Card
Hi There! Today I have a video sharing an easy way to create a window shaker card. Although I haven’t done one in ages, I decided to give one a try. It was fun!
I’m really loving the bright bold colours on today’s project. I created a colour block for my background by cutting strips of card-stock from the Brights Collection. The greeting from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set has been heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.
My window was created with the Bold Butterfly Thinlits, and I’ve also cut the smallest butterfly using a scrap piece of vellum.
The fun part was adding the sequins to the window to create an exciting little shaker card.
Tricks & Tips
- Adhere the vellum butterfly using a glue dot in the center
- Add a strip of rhinestones to the center for the vellum butterfly to hide the adhesive
