Sending Love Treat Bag

I just love the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, they make it so easy to create cute and simple gift packaging for any occasion.

For this project I’ve cut my bag using the Sending Love Glassine Sheets and adhere my bag together using SNAIL adhesive.

I added my treat to the bag (note: if you’re using baked goods, I strongly suggest you you place your baked goods in a cello bag first as the grease from the cookie will seep through the glassine sheet) then folded the top over and sealed on the back with a piece of tape.  I then used Sending Love Ribbon and tied a bow on my package.

I needed to add a greeting but wanted to do it a different way.  So I stamped my greeting from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set onto a scrap piece of Pink Pirouette Cards stock and then die cut my greeting using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits with the greeting on the side of the heart.

I finished my gift bag with Sending Love DSP cut into strips and using my bone folder, curled the paper strips just like you would to curl ribbon.  I then adhered my greeting using Stampin’ Dimentionals to the front of my gift bag.

I so loved how this project turned out and I’m excited to place it in my husbands lunch box on Valentines day as a little gift from me with his favourite baked treat inside.
