Shimmer on Vellum

Hello. Today’s video shares how to add colour to vellum with Wink of Stella Glitter Pen, to create a Shimmer on Vellum effect.

I really like adding shimmer to my cards to make them a little more special. And when I can very easily add shimmer AND colour at the same time I am doing the Happy Dance!

I started by heat embossing my rose image from the gorgeous Rose Wonder Stamp Set onto vellum.

Adding shimmery colour to vellum is incredibly easy. I used  Wink of Stella Glitter Markers to blend colours. Since neither absorb into the vellum right away, you can easily move colour around until you are happy. Look at that shine!

You can do A LOT with just a clear shimmer pen. I used my Stampin’ Write markers for the colouring, then move and blend them with the clear pen.

Tricks & Tips

• To remove excess colour from your project simply dab the area with a dry cloth
• Keep a paper towel handy to wipe off excess colour from your shimmer pen
