Thank You Very Much – Butterfly Gala Greeting Card

This weeks project tutorial we’re featuring my all time favourite Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, plus a different way to use your Stampin’ Blends.

Supplies:

• Stamps – Butterfly Gala (148580)
• Ink – Memento Black Ink (132708), Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend (144585), Light Calypso Coral Stampin Blend (144042), Highland Heather Stampin Blend Combo pack (147276)
• Paper – Whisper White (106549), Gingham Gala DSP (148554), Lemon Lime Twist (144250), Vellum (106584)
• Other –Butterfly Duet Punch (148523), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Starburst Punch (143717), Whisper White Flax Ribbon (148764), Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins (148561), Ruler

Dimensions:

• Daffodil Delight CS: 5-7/8″ x 8-1/4″
• Vellum CS: scrap piece
• Whisper White CS: 3-1/8″ x 1″ , and a scrap piece
• Gingham Gala (Lemon Lime Twist pattern): 5-5/8″ x 3-7/8″
• Whisper White Flax Ribbon:  4-1/2″ piece

Directions:

1. Draw vertical lines in the white spaces using Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend marker.  Draw horizontal lines in the white spaces using Light Calypso Coral Stampin Blend Marker.  Adhere to Lemon Lime Twist Card base
2. Stamp the butterfly image (small & Large) twice on a scrap piece of White cardstock.  Colour using Highland Heather Stampin Blend Combo pack.  Punch out using duet butterfly punch
3. Punch a starburst with scrap piece of Vellum cardstock.  Set aside.
4. Stamp your greeting using Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White CS.  Colour over your greeting with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend
5. Adhere Whisper White Flax Ribbon to centre of your starburst vellum piece using tear tape.  Centre and stick to the card front towards the top centre
6. Add your greeting as shown in the photo using stampin’ dimensionals.
7. Adhere 1 large and 1 small butterfly to the card front using stampin dimensionals
8. Adhere 1 small butterfly using liquid glue to the top left of your greeting.  Add a scattering of Adhesive backed sequins.  You’re done!
