If you missed it, this was the project we created. A clean and simple card featuring Peaceful Poppies Patterned Paper and the So Sentimental Stamp set and coordinating dies
Start with the Supplies
Let’s start with the supplies…
Measurements
- Create your card base from Pool Party Cardstock (8-1/4″ x 5-7/8″) scored at 4-1/8″ and folded in half.
- Basic Black layer is just 1/4″ smaller than my card front piece (5-5/8″ x 3-7/8″)
- Peaceful Poppies DSP cut 1/8″ smaller than Black CS (5-1/2″ x 3-3/4″)
Assembling Your Greeting Card
Mat patterned paper to Black CS and adhere that to your Pool Party card base. Stamp your greeting in Black ink onto a scrap piece of White CS and die cut using the coordinating die. Also die cut a larger frame in Black CS. Mat your greeting to the Black die cut frame and adhere to the project using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tips & Tricks
Use your Stampin’ Blends to colour your embellishments (pearls) a different colour. I’ve coloured mine with Dark Black Stampin’ Blend Marker. To embellish my project.
