Washi Tape Birthday

While this card was created using strips of Washi Tape, you can also use strips of patterned paper or ribbon.

 

DIRECTIONS:
 

1. Fold the 14.9cm x 21cm piece of Melon Mambo CS in half, with a bone folder, creating a card base and set aside
2. Stick the various pieces of washi tape to the bottom half 14cm x 9.5cm Whisper White CS, placing them on various angles, as shown in the photo  Fold the overhang portions of the washi tape around to the back of the CS
3. Stamp the greeting to the left hand side of the Whisper White CS, aligning the greeting with the top piece of washi tape, using Stazon Black Ink
4. Stick one end of the 46cm piece of Early Espresso Bakers Twine to the back of your Whisper White CS, using a piece of tape
5. Wrap the baker's twine around the CS, twice, directly over the top of the washi tape pattern.  Stick the second end of the baker's twine to the back of the CS with tape
6. Thread the 20cm piece of Early Espresso baker's twine through the holes in the button and tie the ends into a bow.  Stick the threaded button to the piece of Whisper White CS directly over the Early Espresso Baker's Twine, using a glue dot.
7. Centre and stick the 14cm x 9.5cm piece of Whisper White CS to the piece 14.3mc x 9.8cm Basic Black CS using SNAIL Adhesive
8. Centre and stick the matted piece of Whisper White CS to the base, using SNAIL Adhesive.  You're Done!
