You’re Amazing -Spotlight Technique
Today’s card is a case from the March 2014 Card Magazine. I just loved how simple and easy this card is to make but how effective the spotlight technique looks.
DIRECTIONS
- Fold a 21 x 15cm piece of Whisper White CS in half to create a 15 x 10.5cm card base
- Stamp the elepahant image from You’re Amazing Stamp set in Stazon Ink in the center of your cardbase and again on scrap piece of Whisper White CS
- Stamp your greeting at the bottom of your cardbase with Bermuda Bay Classic Ink, set aside for a moment
- With the elephant image you stamped onto scrap Whisper White CS. Colour the hat with blender pen and Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay Classic Ink
- Colour the elephant with smoky slate classic ink and a blender pen
- Cut part of your elephant out using 1 3/8″ circle punch, stick this to your main image over the exact same spot your cut out is with stampin’ dimentionals
- Add some buttons from the Brights collection and finished off with a few Basic Jewels. You’re Done!
